I entered the marsh and teleported a few Times and I have no idea where the cat could be. Luckilly this won't seem to be an issue because you don't get too many traits, and it would be a bummer to lose an important one, if you want more dialogue options and just options in general that is, as the pet pal trait. Tbh i'm an animal person too, especially cats and i'd lose the pet pal trait before i'd let the cat die. Hopefully this will be enough so you can keep playing. Also apparently you only lose pet pal if it's on the character that actually does the talking. These questions are probably better asked in The Modding Dungeon where hopefully someone may be able to answer them. Just swap it back after you've finished talking. So if you go to the mirror first and swap out pet pal, you won't lose it. Not sure that it's been fixed per se however if you choose the negative option all the animals in cloisterwood i believe just kinds explode, true story, but if you take the positive option and save the cat animals w/e, you still do lose the pet pal trait. Well, it died within first 3 minutes in my game. There's a couple of Magister guardsmen near the entrance to the keep that will shoot the cat if you get to close. When i first post i didn't realise someone had resurrected. The cat doesn't avoid the poison that is all around the undead character. This will be the third necro this week i've post on. Just wanted to add that I was actively playing this game (like, hours a day) up until I made this post, then haven't touched it since. You should have enough time to start the convo with buddy.
